About Classroom Randomizer Toolkit
Classroom Randomizer Toolkit is a small set of browser tools for quick classroom activities. It is built for teachers, tutors, online instructors, and facilitators who need simple tools without account setup.
Current tools
The current toolkit includes a Random Group Generator, a Random Student Picker, and a Classroom Timer. These tools support common classroom moments such as group work, turn-taking, warm-ups, discussion, cleanup, and short activities.
Classroom-first design principles
- Keep the main classroom task easy to find.
- Use large, readable output for projected classroom screens.
- Avoid login, account setup, and unnecessary workflow friction.
- Use teacher-friendly wording instead of technical setup language.
- Keep privacy reminders visible without blocking the tool.
Privacy-first posture
The current tools run in the browser page. They do not require login, do not use a database, and do not store student lists on a server. Names, groups, picked results, and timer labels are handled for the current page session only.
Limited, privacy-conscious site analytics may be used to understand basic page usage, page loading, and site reliability. Analytics are not intended to collect classroom activity content such as pasted names, generated groups, picked names, picked history, timer labels, copied results, or other free-text classroom input.
The site does not use ads, advertising analytics, or ad personalization for this launch. If expanded analytics, ads, or third-party services are considered later, they require separate review before implementation.
Feedback and contact status
A public feedback form or contact address has not been added yet. Until a contact route or channel is explicitly approved, this site should not imply that support, classroom data review, or account assistance is available.
Current limitations
Classroom Randomizer Toolkit does not provide account sync, saved class lists, LMS integration, Google Classroom integration, roster management, attendance tracking, or formal assessment workflows.
Read the privacy notes and terms of use before using the tools in a school or organization setting.
